For this monotype of the sea grass at the Qualicum Beach oceanfront, oil-based printmaking ink was rolled onto an acrylic plate and manipulated with a rag, q-tips, card and brayers to produce the image on the plate. Damp 100% cotton paper was placed over the plate and run through the press, transferring the ink to the paper. I repeated this process for the additional colours, carefully registering the plate each time, to ensure proper alignment.
