Part of a series titled "Joy in the Journey". These old buildings fascinate me. What is their story? Are they still being used? Getting out on a short walk we come across bits of history, or maybe not. They usually speak to me of lives lived "on the land". These buildings were at the beginning of a walk and what a surprise to see them as if we were encroaching on their space. But no we weren't. The journey can surprise and remain in your memory.
