Description:
This peak dominates the view as one arrives at the base of the Mt Cain ski hill in Mt Cain Riegonal Park, reached via the Mt Schoen Provincial Park road north of Campbell River. In the spring, late June, there is still enough snow to make good patterns on the mountain side, and spring flowers add colour beside the running water. Also during the week I spent there painting, there were no mosquitoes and no bears!
