Lisa was born in Victoria and grew up in Nanaimo, on  Vancouver Island, where the stunning beauty of the Canadian West Coast has been a constant presence in her life.

Lisa always knew that making art would be an important part of her life.  This led to a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Victoria, where she specialized in drawing, printmaking, and art education.

Lisa spent many years teaching art in Victoria.  She now divides her time between her web site design business and her fine art.

Although Lisa's first love is her highly representational watercolour botanical paintings, in recent years she has embraced the bolder language and creative freedom of acrylics.

Lisa's paintings and drawings are in collections in Western Canada, the United States and the UK.

Lisa's paintings and drawings are available for sale at The Old School House Arts Centre in Qualicum Beach, as well as the Nanaimo Art Gallery and Gallery 223 (also in Nanaimo).

Commissions welcome.
